June 1st has been marked as the National Day of Running. Here in Chicago there are multiple things going on to celebrate this day. Check out the Chicago Area Runners Association's website for some ideas on ways to get out and run tonight. Fleet Feet does group runs at their Chicago locations. The Piper's Alley location has a run specifically to celebrate this event.

Know of another event in our area? Discuss it below. But make sure you get out today of all today to enjoy our sport of running.
