The theme for International Women's Day this year is to have a world where women and children can live free of their abusers. It's the 100th anniversary this March 8th. Women have a common bond and unfortunately it is one that involves survival and a heightened sense of being.
Women have to know what is going on around them at all times. They have to be able to see that there are many things possible in a given situation and that they too could have something catastrophic happen to them in those cases. In most parts of the globe women are in constant torment and are having consistent issues that prevent them from living a normal life.
Our media tends to focus on who is dating who, and women who make less then men. They tend to direct their focal points toward other issues. Women are pitted against each other in American culture but there still exists a purposeful underlying issue.
This exists as a part of everything else. Women are a necessary part of life and because of that so too is the idea that most women are being abused in the most horrible ways.
