Today in El Paso: Big children's fair in town this weekend

Generation 2000 is an annual event that takes place in downtown El Paso this Friday and Saturday. Called the “largest children’s fair in the Southwest”, the purpose of Generation 2000 is to promote interaction between parent and child. There are plenty of event booths that may be of interest to you in addition to rides and games that your family will enjoy.

Generation 2000 has been around for over twenty years as a regular event in El Paso. This year’s event will allow a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Children’s Crisis Center of El Paso. Advanced tickets can be purchased for $3.50 at Good Times stores, otherwise, regular admission is $5.00. Regular tickets can be purchased at the Convention Center Box Office.
