Tod's boutique reopens while Off Broadways Shoes continues to welcome frugalistas

Tod's boutique had openened its branch amidst the affluent Rodeo Drive shopping arena in Beverly Hills, California last Thursday, April 15.  Italian shoemaker and Tod’s CEO Diego Della Valle threw a lavish party to reopen the refurbished Tod’s boutique and Tod’s Home Concept.  This event was also to honor Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Arts's new director, Jeffrey Deitch.  The star-studded guest list included Jessica Alba, Kate Beckinsale, Jim Belushi, Halle Berry, Jacqueline Bisset, Kate Bosworth, Jordana Brewster, Pierce Brosnan, Jessica Capshaw, Neil Patrick Harris, Anjelica Huston, Marisa Tomei and Gwen Stefani with husband singer, Gavin Rossdale.  These fashion-minded Hollywood insiders were mostly dressed low-key.  Twenty-eight-year old Alba was simply gorgeous on her all-black ensemble, not to mention her super fad platform pumps, while Bosworth and Tomei had their versions of the little black dress.  Pop star Stefani, however, showed a little flash in a silver metallic dress, white footless leggings and strappy heeled sandals.

Get your ballet flats (that may or may not look like Tod’s) at your most affordable price.  Try even the fiercest gladiator sandals that will outdo Gwen Stefani’s pair.  You can never go wrong with open-toe platforms, straps and neutrals this season.  Plus, the discounts and savings can even make you feel right.  Price tags may be too much for some but, take note, they definitely are not high-end like Tod’s.
