Toby Keith will be heading out on the road this summer with a new tour. The Shut Up & Hold On Tour was announced via Toby Keith's website on March 3. The tour was announced with a video montage of fans and radio personalities saying individual parts of the phrase “Shut up and hold on.”

Toby Keith is currently promoting his 17th studio album, “Drinks After Work.” The album, released in October of 2013 is a tribute to Toby Keith’s former band leader of 25 years, Chuck Goff, Jr. Goff was killed on February 27, 2013 when his car collided with another vehicle in Oklahoma. He was a talented bass player, songwriter, and dear friend of Toby Keith’s.

In an interview with Radio.com last year, Toby Keith confessed that he writes throughout the year and is ready to record a new album every spring. The yearly consistency results in new music for fans each fall and a new tour almost every year.
