According to Comic Book Movie on April 1, Toby Kebbell, who is known for his roles in the upcoming films "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" and "Warcraft", was offered the Doctor Doom role in Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four" reboot. The deal isn't official though, but 20th Century Fox does have a desire for the actor to pick up the part.

Kebbell had been in competition for the part along with Sam Riley, Eddie Redmayne, Jack Huston, and Domhnall Gleeson, but it appears that director Trank has made his decision. If chosen, Kebbell will be working in the fictional opposition against the fictional superhero actors Jamie Bell, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Miles Teller.

For those who aren't familiar with the 2005 version of the film, Doctor Doom was played by Julian McMahon and also starred "Captain America's" Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, and Ioan Gruffudd.

The film will begin shooting this spring and is scheduled to be released on June 19, 2015.
