Toby Jones reprises his role in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” has been heading towards the start of production full speed.

First it was announced that Anthony and Joe Russo (“Community”) would be directing, and then that Anthony Mackie (“Gangster Squad”) and Frank Grillo (“The Grey”) would be joining the cast as Falcon and Crossbones (respectively).

Now it has been confirmed that in addition to Chris Evans (“London”) returning to the film Toby Jones (“The Mist”), according to HeyUGuys today, will be returning as well.

In the first film he played Nazi Dr. Arnim Zola, but no details are known as to whether or not he will take on his character’s alter ego from the comic books (a suit that designs for were shown in the first film).

The new film takes place primarily in the first film so it is completely possible that Toby Jones could appear merely in flashbacks that involve The Winter Soldier’s creation.

Either way his talent lends the credibility Marvel looks for in every one of its films, and I look forward to seeing his performance.
