Tobin elected as new Arizona Speaker of the House

Arizona State Representative, Andy Tobin, has been elected Arizona's new Speaker of the House. Tobin was elected Thursday after former Speaker Kirk Adams stepped down. Tobin has diligently served District 1 in the legislature since 2006.  After his first year elected, Tobin was named House Majority Whip for two years. Their after serving as House Majority Leader since January. His fast rise to the top can be accounted for his extensive background in business, finance and even in aerospace.  As well as his strong leadership and dedication.

Andy Tobin can be named for several achievements over the years. Tobin was selected as Freshman Legislator of the Year in 2007 by the Arizona School Board Association. He also was selected as Legislator of the Year 2008 by the Arizona Small Business Association. Tobin is a Arizona small business owner who has invested a great deal in his northern Arizona community.

Speaker Tobin has not only served with experience but also with much heart. He is a caring and charitable man who has raised over a million and half dollars to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, as well as St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, and UNICEF

Replacing Tobin as the new Majority Leader of the House of Representatives will be none other than Steve Court. Court looks forward to following in Tobin's footsteps and serving as Republican Majority Leader. It will be a refreshing change to see Speaker Tobin's leadership over the Arizona's House of Representatives. I believe his experience and knowledge will serve well here, and bring much success to Arizona's road to economic freedom.
