Come on horror and comedy fans -- you know you want to see this phenomenal show picked up for a second season! It's a fun mix of gore, awesome special effects, comedic genius and exceptional actors!
For the last couple of weeks, SpiderOne (front man and founder of the Powerman 5000 band and creator of MTV's hit series, Death Valley) has been tweeting online about fans wanting another season of Death Valley. The show was picked up (so far) for just the one season of 13 episodes. If you're a fan of Death Valley, you need to speak up and let it be known that you want this show back for another season. No better time to start than right here, right now!
Voice your opinons on Twitter, Facebook and at MTV's Death Valley website. So many great shows are lost after just one season for a couple of reasons: First and foremost, FANS DO NOT WATCH ENOUGH! If you're a fan of a show, ALWAYS, ALWAYS watch it! You never know when a network may yank it away from you. Secondly, make it known that you enjoy the show and want to see more of it. Especially a new show like Death Valley! When a TV show is picked up for one season initially, this is like a trial run to see how it will do, what the fan following will be like and if it sparks enough conversation that it's worth giving it a second season.
So go tell MTV you want MORE Death Valley! And do it now so network execs know full well that you are digging the show and want it to stick around. There are no other shows on TV like this one. In my personal opinion, Death Valley is a definitive milestone in the horror genre. Never before has there been a show that incorporates the best of horror (zombies, vampires and werewolves), plus the right amount of sarcasm and comedic elements into a TV show. And the off-the-hook special effects are really something to see.
Death Valley was recently compared to a combination of Shaun of the Dead/Reno 911 and honestly, that comparison is right on the money. The show is absolute genius! If you want it to come back for a second season, go ask for it now. Don't let this show slip away because you will be sorry you did!! Now go show Death Valley, SpiderOne, the cast and crew and MTV some love, and let them know WE WANT SEASON TWO OF DEATH VALLEY!
