"The Closer" spin-off "Major Crimes, which has been picked up for Season 3, wraps its summer run on Monday, Aug. 19 and will return in November for the second half of its second season.
"Perception," also renewed for a third season, is slated to end its summer run on Tuesday, Aug. 27, and will return in early 2014 for the rest of Season 2.
"Rizzoli & Isles," which has been renewed for Season 5, ends its summer run on Tuesday, Sept. 10, returning early next year for the second half of its fourth season.
The three shows are among basic cable's Top 10 series with total viewers this summer, with "Rizzoli & Isles" taking the top spot. They join sci-fi series "Falling Skies," which was recently renewed for a 12-episode fourth season.
"TNT has had a terrific summer with four big hits that have drawn viewers with great storytelling, engaging characters and outstanding performances," said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM).
“With the renewals of 'Rizzoli & Isles,' 'Major Crimes,' 'Falling Skies' and 'Perception,' TNT has built an incredibly strong arsenal of scripted series."
"Mob City" from "The Walking Dead" creator Frank Darabont debuts on Dec. 4, while "Dallas" also returns this winter. Next year's new shows include Michael Bay's "The Last Ship," and "Legends" starring Sean Bean ("Game of Thrones").
No word yet on the fate of "Franklin & Bash." The future also remains uncertain for reality series "The Hero" and "72 Hours," which launched this summer, while new drama "King & Maxwell" has been cancelled.
