TNA Wrestling pre-taped their "Impact Wrestling" show for next week immediately following their live show on Aug. 29. Here is a look at the TNA Wrestling spoilers from the television tapings and who was revealed as Bully Ray's next challenger for the world title at "No Surrender."
There was one match taped for the "Xplosion" Internet show and in that match Kazarian beat Hernandez to earn more Bound for Glory tournament points.
Aces & Eights opens the show in the ring. Bully Ray books his Aces & Eights members into matches, with Knox fighting former world champion Chris Sabin, Garrett Bischoff and Wes Briscoe facing the world tag team champions James Storm and Gunner, and Mr. Anderson will fight in the Bound for Glory gauntlet match.
Knox won the opening match over Chris Sabin by disqualification. Sabin was winning the match, so Bully Ray threw the hammer to Knox. However, Sabin got it and hit Knox in front of the referee.
The Bound for Glory gauntlet match was next. It wasn't really a gauntlet, but instead an elimination match where a new wrestler entered every 90 seconds. AJ Styles won the match by beating Christopher Daniels and is now first place in the Bound for Glory standings.
Garrett Bischoff and Gunner beat the world tag team champions, James Storm and Gunner, in the next match. Bischoff used brass knuckles to get the win.
After this, the Bound for Glory "No Surrender" matches were named. The Final Four for the tournament are AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Magnus and Bobby Roode. Styles was allowed to choose his own semifinal opponent since he is first in the standings, and he chose Austin Aries. This means Roode and Magnus will fight in the second match.
Backstage, Bully Ray rips into Mr. Anderson for losing and tells him to take care of business.
In the main event, Sting fought Bully Ray. Brooke, Tito Ortiz and Mr. Anderson were at Bully's side. Hulk Hogan came out and tossed Tito Ortiz from ringside and then made the match no DQ. The Aces & Eights ran in but the Main Event Mafia chased them off while Mr. Anderson did nothing.
Finally, Sting locked in the Scorpion Deathlock on Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson jumped up with the hammer. However, he refused to give it to Bully Ray and Bully taps out. After the match. Mr. Anderson rips into Bully for losing and tells him to take care of business. He then says he is the man who will get the world title shot at "No Surrender."
