TNA Wrestling rumors: Christopher Daniels and Kazarian possibly leaving

There has been a lot of change in TNA Impact Wrestling over the past half year. The biggest names in the company have been leaving, and there might be two more on their way out the door. According to PWS on Friday, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian’s contracts expire in the next few weeks and all signs point to them leaving TNA Impact Wrestling.

The biggest danger sign that their days are numbered comes from the last two TV tapings. Ever since the “TNA LockDown” pay-per-view, neither Daniels nor Kazarian have been at the TV tapings. With the way the AJ Styles departure went down, with him wrestling on TV until his final day in the company, it looks like TNA Impact Wrestling just wants to quietly send Bad Influence on their way.

This is very discouraging, since along with AJ Styles, they are TNA originals. Both men have wrestled for the company since they started 12 years ago. If Daniels and Kazarian both leave, that leaves James Storm as the only true original left in prominent action. Bobby Roode and Eric Young debuted in year three and Samoa Joe in year four.

Of course, if Daniels and Kazarian leave, they won’t be unemployed for very long. Jeff Jarrett is starting his new wrestling promotion, Global Force Wrestling, and they likely will be welcomed there. There is also the Shane Douglas wrestling promotion that is coming in the next year, and they can always head back to Ring of Honor or to either Evolve or Dragon Gate USA.

They isn’t the only wrestlers that might be leaving TNA Impact Wrestling this year. Kurt Angle’s contract ends in either August or September and he has been hinting that he might be almost ready to retire. Angle did say he would like to finish his career in the WWE and Stephanie McMahon said “never say never.” It is almost assured that Angle won’t resign with TNA Impact Wrestling if he is really ready to call it a career.
