On Thursday night's episode of "TNA Impact Wrestling," Bully Ray defended his world title against his Aces & Eights teammate Mr. Anderson on a "No Surrender" themed card. When the match ended, Bully Ray piledrove Anderson on the stage, taking him completely out of action.
The reason for the brutal and violent ending was because Mr. Anderson's TNA contract expires next month and the two sides had not come to an agreement on its extension. If he did not re-sign, the beat down that ended "No Surrender" would have been the last fans would see of Anderson in TNA Wrestling.
That worry is no longer there. With Mr. Anderson returning, it is now time to figure out where he fits into the story when it comes to Aces & Eights vs. TNA. An interesting thing to look at is that the smart way to go would be Hulk Hogan taking credit for creating two matches that cost Aces & Eights their two most veteran members in Devon and Mr. Anderson, and showing that he has been working Bully Ray this entire time.
Then, Mr. Anderson can decide if he liked being played or not and either come back for revenge against Bully Ray, or re-join Bully to battle Hogan in revenge. Where this leads is anyone's guess right now.
