TNA Wrestling news: Jeff Hardy’s status in TNA after quitting on TV

On an upcoming episode of TNA Impact Wrestling, Jeff Hardy will team with Sting in a handicap match with the BroMans and Dixie Carter’s stooges, Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III. After the match, Hardy quit TNA but PWInsider reported on Dec. 10 that it was just an angle.

In TNA Impact Wrestling recently, it is hard to tell what it real and what is scripted.

When Hulk Hogan quit on air, it was the end of Hogan’s tenure in TNA Impact Wrestling. By quitting on the show, it allowed the company to explain his absence and they moved on without him. However, since this is professional wrestling, no one knows what is real and what isn’t until a person actually makes an official move.

In another upcoming taping of Impact, AJ Styles loses his TNA World Championship in a title vs. title match to Magnus and then officially announces to the crowd that he is leaving TNA but will always remember his time there. That was also legitimate, as Styles contract expires next week and he has not agreed on a new one.

However, with Jeff Hardy, it is just an angle that might be playing off the current exodus of stars. Hardy is still under contract to TNA Impact Wrestling. However, thanks to his criminal record, he can’t travel overseas with the company, who will be starting a tour of Europe soon, so this is a way to explain his absence from the shows.
