TNA Impact Wrestling held the first part of their annual "Genesis" event on Jan. 16 and The American Wolves made their debuts on the TV show. According to Davey Richards on the show, the two signed a new contract with TNA Impact Wrestling today.

Of course, that could just be for storyline purposes as they also handed TNA President Dixie Carter their contracts that explained there is a new major investor in TNA, meaning she no longer holds all the power. While that is a storyline, the fact is the Wolves are believed to have signed a new deal to join TNA Impact Wrestling.

The show also showed the lines being drawn in the TNA vs. Dixie Carter story and the show opened with a 12-man tag match with the people who helped Dixie run AJ Styles out of TNA last week against the guys in the locker room who were against it. Samoa Joe won that match.

In an interview last week, Samoa Joe said he has one year left on his contract and asked TNA to trust him to carry a major storyline this year. With him winning the match, that might be coming true.

The main event saw Ethan Carter III beat Sting when Magnus came down with a referee shirt on and counted a fast three count. After the match, Magnus agreed to defend his world title against Sting next week, but if he wins then Sting has to leave TNA Impact Wrestling.

That would make AJ Styles, Sting, Hulk Hogan and Jeff Hardy leaving the company - although Hardy is a storyline and is still with the company. It looks like the "new investor" could be what rallies the troupes in the war against Dixie Carter in TNA Impact Wrestling.
