Current TNA X-Division champion Austin Aires recently revealed that he has provided voice over work for the WWE on several of their video games made by THQ. Before Aries signed with TNA last year, he did work on the "WWE '12" video game that was a huge hit in 2011. According to a Sunday February 12th report by WrestlingInc.com, Aries made the following comments about his voice over work for WWE and THQ:
"Austin Aries here. Not to let facts get on the way of a good story but I worked for 3 years of THQ's WWE video game. My voice over work for this year's game was done way before I signed with TNA. And I make very good money with TNA for that matter. Thought you might like to have some actual factual info instead of making things up."
There were some online reports that stated Aries did this voice over work while with TNA. Aries felt inclined to clear up the reports by making a public statement. Aries is set to defend his X-Division title on Sunday night against Alex Shelley at TNA's Against All Odds PPV which begins at 8pm EST live from the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida.
