Legendary wrestler, and current TNA star, Hulk Hogan joined the TNA crew as they begun their Tour of the UK. On Thursday, Hogan participated in his first wrestling match on since October. According to a Thursday January 26th report by WrestlingInc.com, Hulk teamed up with Sting and James Storm in an impromptu 6 man tag-team match against Robert Roode, Kurt Angle, and Bully Ray. Hogan got the assist for his team as he hit the big boot which incapacitated Roode so that James Storm could hit the atomic leg drop.
Hogan's actions inside the ring surprised the British fans as he hit some of his signature spots. However, his actions outside of the ring also stunned many fans. According to a Thursday report by The SUN, Hogan made the following comments about how he almost joined the legendary metal band Metallica:
"I used to be a session musician before I was a wrestler," he said. "I played bass guitar. I was big pals with Lars Ulrich and he asked me if I wanted to play bass with Metallica in their early days but it didn't work out."
Hogan was a moderately talented bass guitarist before he entered pro-wrestling. Whether or not he could have made it in Metallica during their early days is pure speculation at this point. However, Hulk is definitely helping TNA with the buzz he has created in the UK.
