On Friday, TNA superstars AJ Styles, Gunner, The Pope, and Rob Terry appeared on the AAA PPV "Guerra de Titanes" in Puebla, Mexico. Unfortunately, they came up short in their matches as the TNA superstars all suffered defeat, according to a December 17th report by PWInsider.com. Styles was supposed to prevent El Mesias (former TNA wrestler Judas Mesias) from getting a shot at Jeff Jarrett's AAA Mega-Heavyweight title. Styles was unable to get the job done.
Before Mesias could celebrate his victory, Rob Terry came out and tried to do what AJ failed at. Unfortunately, he also lost to Mesias. This brought out the rest of the TNA wrestlers and they all attacked Mesias. AAA stars Cuervo and Ozz tried to make the save but were unable to. Then Vampiro made his surprise return and cleared the ring of TNA wrestlers.
Earlier in the PPV, The Pope and Gunner, with their partner Chessman, lost in a 6 man tag match to The Psycho Circus which consists of Monster Clown, Murder Clown, and Psycho Clown.
- Mascarita Divina/Mascarita Dorada, Octagoncito defeated Mini Chessman, Mini Histeria, Mini Psicosis
- Lumberjack Match por el Reina de Reinas: Sexy Star defeated Pimpinela Escarlata
- Flaming Tables Match: Extreme Tiger & Joe Lider beat Nicho el Millionario & X-Fly
- The Psycho Circus (Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown) defeated Chessman, Pope Dinero and Gunner
- Cibernetico, Electroshock and Zorro defeated Octagon, La Parka Jr. and Silver Kain
- Bounty Match: El Mesias defeated AJ Styles but after the match Dorian Roldan & Konnan came out and said that he would have to win another match before he would be granted a shot at Jeff Jarrett's AAA Mega Heavyweight Title.
- Bounty Match: El Mesias defeated Rob Terry but would get jumped by the TNA guys afterwards until Cuervo & Ozz tried to help but they were controlled until Vampiro made his grand return to the promotion to clean house. Vampiro then announced that he would be taking over El Inframundo since La Parka Jr. left them high & dry after turning rudo.
- Los Perros del Mal (Perro Aguayo Jr., Hector Garza, Halloween) defeated Drago, Jack Evans and Fenix
- AAA Latin America Title: L.A. Par-K defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. to win the title.
