Following up a very successful "Summer Sizzler" event, the Coastal Wrestling Federation returns to the La Marque National Guard Armory this Saturday night for another action-packed lineup. The event known as "Fusion," celebrates CWF's seven-year anniversary in Texas.
A huge double main event is scheduled, as CWF continues its war with Total Domination. After "The Heartthrob" Phillip Barnard made good on his promise in August that Total Domination would go 3-for-3, he has a bigger problem to deal with this month. CWF has enlisted the services of TNA star Rob Terry and former NWA World Champion "The Tokyo Monster" Kahagas, and the two sides will explode in a huge 8-man elimination match.
Terry and Kahagas will team up with "Cowboy" James Claxton and former CWF International Champion Slam Shady, as they face Total Domination's team of "Cactus" Jack Royal, Paul Titan, Akbar Farat, and "The Texas Legacy" Austin Rhodes. What will happen, as CWF tries to retaliate against recent shots fired by Total Domination?
In the second half of the huge double main event, CWF Champion Lance Beretta will put his gold on the line against Major Eddie Lee. Last month, Lee returned to CWF after being injured at the hands of Brian Christopher and the 409'ers, and essentially held up the company for a title shot. He and his lawyer had a list of demands, and getting a shot at the CWF Championship was atop the list. Beretta has welcomed the challenge and promised to make Lee regret stepping into the picture.
You will also see a special ladies tag match, as former TNA Knockout April Hunter will team up with Jessica James and Claudia Solis, to take on the combination of Kyra Maya, Princess Miranda, and Myka Madrid.
Elwhere at "Fusion," two of the biggest names in Texas go one-on-one as "The Texas Prodigy" Carson will face off against the man known as Genesis. These two know each other very well and have battled all over Texas, and this will be nothing short of a treat for CWF fans.
Another two guys that know each other well are "One Man" Mike Dell and "The Modern Day Hero" Kevin Douglas. After Douglas was defeated over the summer by Total Domination member Austin Rhodes, Douglas has went on a rampage trying to injure everybody in sight. He put Carson on the shelf for an extended period of time, and tried to do the same to Dell. That said, Dell has decided to put his CWF Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Douglas in La Marque. Can Dell emerge victorious, or will Douglas pull off the upset and walk out as champion?
The "Hebrew Phenom" David Star will be in action, as he faces off with Jesse Logan from the Southern Outlaw Boys. Stahr injured Logan's partner Roc Hardway recently in Texas City, and Logan has stepped up to defend his partner. Stahr, confident as ever, warned that Logan would end up in similar condition if he wasn't careful.
There will also be a gauntlet match to determine the #1 Contender to the CWF Cruiserweight Championship, as "The Son of Madness" Johnny Reed will face Arc Angel, John Justice, and Rudy Russo to see who will get a shot at the gold.
Fans will also see T-Bone and Mad Dog in action, as well as "The Heartthrob" Phillip Barnard has promised another Total Domination surprise. CWF "Fusion" is shaping p to be a monumental anniversary show, so you will want to be there early to get the best seats in the building.
