TNA spoilers: Jeff Hardy to miss next five weeks of TV

According to wrestlezone.com on Jan. 19, Jeff Hardy will not make the trip with TNA Impact Wrestling for the company's U.K. tour. While wrestlezone.com speculated on why he might be remaining home, the reason is due to Hardy's felony convictions keeping him from traveling abroad.

TNA used an injury angle to explain his absence because, after this next week's Impact Wrestling broadcast, the next four TV shows will all be taped in the U.K., with two in Manchester and two in London. Since Hardy is the reigning TNA Impact Champion, they had to write the reasons he won't be on the shows into their story lines.

On this Thursday's tapings, Hardy defends his world championship against Christopher Daniels, who won the right for the title shot. With Hardy not making the U.K. trip, It looked like TNA might reward Daniels for his years of service with his first world championship.

It never happened. Hardy beat Daniels at the TV tapings and remained the champion. However, after the match, Taz came out and ran down Hardy and then Aces & Eights ran in for the beat down. Hardy took a hammer shot to the middle of his back, which TNA will use to explain his absence for the next month.

Since Jeff Hardy won't be traveling to the U.K. with TNA Impact Wrestling, Sting will take his place in his announced matches.
