"TNA Impact Wrestling" aired on Jan. 31 and two new wrestlers joined the outlaw group known as Aces & Eights. The betrayal happened after the steel cage match between Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson.
Angle came back a couple of weeks ago from an injured back at the hands of Aces & Eights and immediately challenged his old nemesis Mr. Anderson to a steel cage match this week in Manchester during TNA's tour of the U.K.
The table was set for the match when Anderson was in the dressing room with his friends Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco. Samoa Joe, another ally, was attacked backstage. As Angle and Wes Brisco headed out to the ring for the match, Bischoff stayed behind to get help for Joe.
The match was a solid main event and Angle won by submission when he locked Anderson in the ankle lock. After the match, as Angle was celebrating, a member of Aces & Eights ran in from the crowd, scaled the cage and climbed in. Wes Brisco came in to help and Angle asked him to lock them in the cage.
However, the Aces & Eights member unmasked as Garrett Bischoff and then when Angle tried to attack him, Brisco clipped him from behind. Both men then beat down Kurt Angle and then celebrated as the show went off the air.
The turn has been rumored for a fee months now for Bischoff and Brisco, but they avoided it for so long that it almost seemed like they weren't going to turn them. However, they did and Aces & Eights have two new members.
