TNA spoilers and results: Dixie Carter announces 'Impact' travel plans

"TNA Impact Wrestling" aired on Jan. 31 and Dixie Carter made a very special announcement. The president of TNA wrestling Dixie Carter let the fans know that, starting March 14, "TNA Impact Wrestling" will go on the road for television tapings permanently.

This is even better news than was originally rumored.

Originally, the rumor mill thought that TNA was going to take the tapings on the road but still tape at Universal Studios in Florida as well. However, Carter said this move was permanent, so it looks like if they go back to Universal Studios, it will be a one-shot deal on random occasions.

The company is rumored to set up the tapings the same way the WWE did when "WWE Monday Night Raw" started on the road, presenting one live show and then pre-taping a show for the next week, so every other show will be live.

This could really help push TNA to the next level, with television tapings on the road bringing in more fans and building their brand around the country. TNA has already done a very nice house show tour through towns across the United States, and if they can bring the same quality with these TV tapings, they should have no problem filling up the arenas.

The first "TNA Impact Wrestling" television tapings on the road will take place in Chicago, Ill. on March 14.
