With TNA Impact Wrestling taking their weekly “Impact Wrestling” television show off the road and returning to Universal Orlando to save money, there might be a chance some of the recently released wrestlers will make their return to the company. According to Rajah on Nov. 4, Mickie James was asked if she planned to return.
James said that, when she left, she was disappointed that her character’s storyline could not conclude. She said that Dixie Carter gave her the opportunity to determine where the story would go, but then she had to make her contract decision and could not complete her planned story.
However, while she was disappointed at first, she said it was a blessing because looking at it from the bigger picture makes her glad she did not go in the direction she was planning with her character. She did say that dropping the title to ODB was a last minute decision because her contract was ending, but she was glad it was ODB that took it from her.
As for her return, she said she is not sure yet where she will end up or when she will make her return to wrestling. She is currently traveling with her band performing concerts around the country, but she said she is not finished as a wrestler yet. Mickie James didn’t say she would necessarily return to TNA Impact Wrestling, and threw out the WWE, Japan and the indies, but said she would be back.
