While “TNA Impact Wrestling” will be heading back to Universal Orlando to tape their TV show once again in a cost cutting measure, PWInsider reported on Nov. 5 that they are not completely finished touring with their TV show.
Taking “Impact” on the road was a perfect idea when it came to TNA Wrestling being taken more seriously, as well as possibly bringing in more fans when it hits different towns. However, the money strain on the company from the touring has caused a number of wrestlers to take pay cuts or be released from the company.
It was necessary to go back to a standard location to tape the show to save the money that the company was losing.
However, reports now say that there will still be some “on the road” television tapings for “TNA Impact Wrestling” in 2014. This isn’t surprising since they have changed more than half of their pay-per-view events to “Impact” television shows.
It would be easy to guess that they will tape the regular “Impact” shows from Universal Orlando and shows like “Hardcore Justice” and “Destination X” as special “on the road” shows.
The new “TNA Impact Wrestling” shows will start taping at Universal Orlando again on Nov. 21 for three days of television tapings that should take them to the end of 2013.
