TNA Impact Wrestling taped their next few episodes of “Impact Wrestling” yesterday, but one of the most popular tag teams was not in attendance. According to prowrestling.com on March 14, Bad Influence was not in attendance at the tapings, making their future in the company up in the air.
Christopher Daniels has always talked the company talk, saying he is excited about the direction of TNA, even before the “TNA Lockdown” pay-per-view. However, his contract is set to come to an end in April and TNA Impact Wrestling will likely want him to take the same sort of major pay cut that they asked AJ Styles to take.
Kazarian’s contract also comes to an end this year, but later in the year.
The word is that the tag team was not booked for the tapings because TNA did not want to book them for the events. This is also possibly because of the fallout from “TNA Lockdown” where the company seems to be positioning themselves to head in a different direction. It is also important to note that during “Wrestlemania 30” weekend, Bad Influence is scheduled to work an indie event instead of the TNA Impact Wrestling live events.
The fact that Jeff Jarrett will announced his new company the week after “Wrestlemania 30,” and the same month that Christopher Daniels contract expires, should send warning signals to TNA Impact Wrestling.
