The first thing that Aries was talked to about was the TNA Wrestling buzz fading, which he said was happening. He said he had his ideas of why it was happening, but wouldn’t go into it, saying it was not in his “pay grade.”
Despite the problems, he said that the morale in the locker room was no different than usual. Aries said that there are weeks where people are up and excited and other times where they are down about things. He said the best thing is for the wrestlers to just focus on their craft and do the best they can with what they are given.
That brought the line of questioning to Hulk Hogan, and AJ Styles, whose contract ends at the end of 2013.
Aries made a great point that only the people online who follow behind-the-scenes drama even knows about the contract information, while regular wrestling fans are clueless to what is going on. He said that TNA needs to be careful not to be “too smart” when talking to the core audience on the shows.
He said that the important thing to know is that the wrestlers just need to control what they can control, and that is with the microphone and their attributes in the ring.
