TNA LockDown '13 results

Tonight, Sunday, March 10, TNA Wrestling presented the ninth annual LockDown pay per view. Tonight’s show was held inside the AlamoDome in San Antonio, Texas. Here are the results.

TNA X-Division Champion Kenny King beat Christian York and Zema Ion in a triple threat match. King pinned York after hitting the Royal Flush.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Joseph Park until Bad Influence (Kazarian & Christopher Daniels) interrupted. Bad Influence then took over the interview and hyped up their upcoming Tag Title match.

Joseph Park pinned Joey Ryan.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan. Hulk Hogan interrupted and gave The Bully a pep talk before his World Title match later in the evening.

TNA Women’s Champion Velvet Sky pinned Gail Kim after hitting In Yo Face.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Robbie E about his upcoming match against Rob Terry.

Rob Terry pinned Robbie E after hitting a standing spinebuster.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash TNA World Tag Team Champion Austin Aries and later his partner Bobby Roode about their upcoming Title defense.

TNA World Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Austin Aries beat Hernandez & Chavo Guerrero and Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) in a triple threat match. Roode pinned Daniels for the victory.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed referee Taryn Terrell about the Women’s Title match until Gail Kim attacked her. Backstage officials separated the two.

The crew started setting up the cage for the rest of the night’s matches. This led to a hype video for Slammiversary ’13 in Boston, Massachusetts on June 2.

Backstage, D-Lo Brown hyped up Aces & 8s for the rest of the show.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Kurt Angle about his upcoming bout against Wes Brisco from Aces & 8s.

In a Steel Cage Match, Wes Brisco beat Kurt Angle via escape. D-Lo Brown attacked Angle as he tried to escape and then pulle out Brisco for the win.

In a Lethal LockDown match, Team TNA (Sting (c), Magnus, Eric Young, James Storm & Samoa Joe) beat Aces & 8s (Devon (c), DOC, Knox, Mr. Anderson & Garett Bischoff).

Order of entrance:

- Magnus & Anderson started the match.

- Knox

- Samoa Joe

- Bischoff

- Young

- Devon

- Storm

- DOC

- Sting

The Lethal LockDown officially began at that point. Young won the match for TNA after hitting Knox with an elbow drop from the top of the cage.

In the main event, Bully Ray pinned TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy in a Steel Cage Match to win the Championship. During the match Hulk & Brooke Hogan came out to cheer on The Bully while Aces & 8s surrounded the ring. Devon handed his “brother” Bully a hammer, who hit Hardy with it to get the pinfall and the Championship. Post-match, the former Tag Champions high fived each other and Bully celebrated with Aces & 8s. Bully and the crew taunted Hulk & Brooke about screwing them over as Aces & 8s celebrated as the show ended.
