On Tuesday night, TNA taped an episode of Impact live from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. The episode will air Thursday night at pm EST on Spike TV. According to PWInsider.com, the Impact tapings started out with the return of AJ Styles who comes down to the ring from the roof of the building.
AJ cuts a promo and talks about his participation at LockDown and challenges Bull Ray for a match inside the steel cage. Bully Ray comes out and rips on AJ and teases entering the cage with Styles. Christopher Daniels comes out and throws Bully Ray into the cage. AJ attacks Ray before he can escape. AJ Styles had been absent from TNA television since late March due to an attack by Bully Ray. AJ was powerbombed off the stage and through a table by Bully Ray.
Gunner and Rob Terry challenge Beer Money to a match.
Hulk Hogan does a promo where he talks about RVD missing his chance to join Immortal. RVD comes out and argues with Hogan. Sting comes out and interrupts them. Hogan announces that it will be Sting vs. RVD at the next PPV.
TNA Knockout tag-team match. The champs, Sarita and Rosita, defeat Madison Rayne and Tara. After the match Tara and Madison argue with each other.
In-ring promo with the Jarretts. Jeff says that Karen is now the "Queen of the Mountain" since he's already the king. Kurt Angle comes out and attacks Jeff.
Abyss defeats RVD after Hulk Hogan interferes. Abyss ended up getting hurt in this match. Reports going around today are that Abyss lost 2 teeth from this match.
Matt Morgan comes out to do an in-ring promo and says he wants a title shot. Scott Steiner comes out and says he wants a title shot too. They agree to fight each others. Steiner attacks Morgan.
Sting defeats Matt Hardy. After the match, Mr. Anderson comes out and attacks both men. He then takes the mic and verbally blasts Sting.
