The following article is a live ‘spoiler’ report of what TNA Wrestling taped for the March 20th edition of IMPACT at the Sears Center in Chicago last night after doing a live broadcast version of IMPACT on Spike TV. TNA X Division Three Way Match: Kenny King defeats Sonajyy Dutt and Xema Ion in the opener.
Mike Tenay appeared in ring for an interview and introduced AJ Styles for an interview so he could address rumors that he's been abusing substances and losing his way since being on a hiatus from TNA. Tenay started the interview, but was interupted by Aces & 8's member/TNA commentator Taz. Taz ridiculed Tenay's interviewing style and then directly offered Styles a 'proabate' spot in Aces & 8 gang. Taz said since AJ was drinking he could "go get the guys beers". Style did not was still silent, when Cowboy James Storm who hit the ring.. Storm demanded answers from Styles for his recent change of character. Styles said nothing, backed away and walked to the back with fans booing.
Hulk Hogan on one crutch cut a promo about how he’s proud of the “warriors” who fell to the Aces & 8’s on the 3/13 episode of IMPACT in a show-clsoing brawl. He has Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, and Magnus. He says TNA needs to win the war against Aces & *’s and a big part of that is is getting the TNA World title back in TNA. He declares that all four men will compete in a Fatal Four Way match to determine the new #1 contender for TNA World Champion and Ace & 8’s leaderBully Ray.
Matt Morgan defeated Joespeh Parks in follow up to last week’s challenge.
Gail Kim and Knockouts referee Taryn Tarrel to antagonize her about her refereeing. Knockouts commisionor Brooke Hogan hit the ramp and said she unfortunately has to terminate Taryn Terrel as the Knockouts referee. Gail Kim gloated for a bit, but then Brooke revealed that she signed Taryn to a Knockouts contract giving her full authority to “get physical” with any Knockout. Taryn thn pounced Kim and the two brawled to the floor and the brawl went up the ramp past Brooke who turned around to watch the fight.
With Brooke’s back turned, Bully Ray appeared from the audience and approached her from behind. She turned appeared frightened. Ray raised his hand as if to hit her, but did not hit her ionly teasing, Brooke insulted him off mic and walked to the back.
TNA Tag Team Championship Match: Bobby Roode & Austin Aries defeated Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero with interference from Christopher Daniels and Kazarian.
Jeff Hardy won the Fatl Four Way. Hardy hit a Swanton Bomb on Samoa Joe as Joe was about to pin Kurt Angle. The match was well-receieved and Hardy was over as the new challenger for
There was no other segments and the TNA crew was rushing the taping along trying to keep a surly Chicago crowd ramped up after the live IMPACT ended at 9pm Central. The whole show ended around 10:30 cst.
