It's been hard keeping track of who's actually in charge of the TNA creative department. Over the last two years Vince Russo, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bruce Pritchard have all been linked to the position of being the man in charge of the creative storylines. One thing is for sure, Russo is no longer that man. In fact, he's no longer a part of the creative team altogether. According to a Sunday February 12th report by WrestleZone.com, Vince Russo is no longer as member of the TNA creative team as he has been ousted from his position.
Former WWE creative personality Dave Lagana has replaced Russo. Lagana has recently been working on TNA's overseas promotion Ring Ka King in India. Apparently, TNA management felt that he was doing a great job with Ring Ka King and no longer believed in Russo's creativity.
TNA has suffered from inconsistent booking over the last few years especially after Hogan and Bischoff came on board. The two men dominated the storylines both on TV and behind the scenes. It's unclear as to what Hogan's role is with the company. Additionally, it's a bit confusing as to what Bruce Pritchard's role is as well. Perhaps, if TNA can clear up the roles of these men, they can get back to putting on compelling TV which they were doing for the first 7 years of their existence.
