Rachel Uchitel was scheduled for a press conference to discuss her relationship with Tiger Woods, at 11:30 am PST Thursday and her attorney, Gloria Allred canceled it early Thursday morning.
The cancellation came after TMZ reported that Rachel Uchitel spoke with Tiger Woods last night, and that she was texting Tiger Woods early Friday morning, an hour before he left his Florida home and crashed his car. The Boston Herald stated that this is what sparked the initial argument between Tiger Woods and his wife, that she caught him texting Uchitel, and this was the reason he left the house upset. Uchitel has been having an affair with Tiger Woods for six months, US Weekly reported and they reported detailed information that the two met in his hotel room in Australia the night of November 12.
TMZ reported that they had reports of a money exchange between Rachel Uchitel and Tiger Woods and implied that it was for her silence, but as of Wednesday night they were unable to confirm it.
Tiger Woods has been under intense public scrutiny since his car accident last Friday morning, and after an alleged affair with Jaimee Grubbs became public, Woods made his own statement Wednesday. Jaimee Grubbs also gave a voicemail from Tiger Woods to US Weekly, to hear the voice mail click here.
In 2008, Tiger Woods underwent his third knee surgery in Park City, Utah. Woods missed two months of the PGA Tour while he recovered.
