TLC has just announced via TV by the Numbers on Wednesday that they are releasing a three part special featuring the "19 Kids and Counting's" Duggar family traveling throughout Asia.
TLC will follow the famous brood as they travel to areas so densely populated, if it weren't for their flannel shirts, ankle length skirts, pasty white skin and perms, the size of their enormous 25 person party may have gone unnoticed.
The family starts their trip in Japan and then winds up in China where they can definitively say, they're not in Arkansas anymore.
Equipped with more than 40 suitcases, the conservative Christian family seeks to immerse themselves in Asian culture, eating seaweed and seafood for breakfast, dressing in kimonos, taking Samurai lessons and going on scavenger hunts in a local market in search of sushi fixin's.
The Duggars end their great Asia adventure in Beijing, China, where the family gets noticed by the Chinese people in a display of curiosity, excitement and celebrity. While in China, the family tries to navigate the city's crowded subway system.
The special ends on a serious note as the family visits an orphanage which TLC promises to be a moving experience for viewers.
"19 Kids and Counting: Duggars do Asia" airs over three consecutive Tuesdays in March, on March 12, 19 and 26 at 9 P.M. EST on TLC.
Season 7 of "19 Kids and Counting" premieres April 2 on TLC.
