TLC's The Sisterhood chronicles the lives of five Atlanta first ladies

TLC (The Learning Channel) is not missing out on the gold mine of reality TV entertainment. With forty shows under it's belt, a new show will surely add to the roster's excitement in the new year.

The Sisterhood is TLC's latest addition to it's reality line-up. It will chronicle the daily lives of five of Atlanta's first ladies as they deal with the hills and valleys of organized religion.

The term "first lady" is not just another name for the wife of a nation's president. In the church world, first lady is the title given to the wife of a church's pastor.

The Sisterhood features five first ladies from the Atlanta area. Atlanta is not just a hot spot of celebrities and night life socialites, it is also home to around three hundred churches.

Christina Murray's husband pastors the Oasis Family Life Church. DeLana Rutherford co-pastor's the Worship the Wonders church alongside her husband.

Ivy Couch is married to the pastor of the Emmanuel Tabernacle Church. She leads the women's ministry and sings on the praise team.

Dominique Scott is the former first lady of the Good Life Ministry. Her and her husband had to close the doors to their church after some financial hardships.

Tara Lewis' husband does not currently pastor a church. She is however a fiesty, outspoken, super-religious, explosive addition to the show's cast.

The Sisterhood airs on TLC on Tuesday nights at 9/8 central.
