According to Deadline.com, the Emmy-nominated series will return for ten one-hour episodes in 2014. The show has averaged 1.8 million viewers this season.
"Who Do You Think You Are?" ran for three seasons on NBC before TLC picked it up in May. Based on a British format, it follows celebrities on a journey into their personal histories, mining their pasts to reveal unknown details about themselves and their families.
Celebrities featured this past season include Kelly Clarkson, Zooey Deschanel, Chelsea Handler, Christina Applegate, Chris O'Donnell, Cindy Crawford and Trisha Yearwood.
Last night's season finale followed "Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons as he explored the ancestors on his paternal side of the family, in tribute to his father.
Martin Sheen, Rob Lowe, Blair Underwood, Sarah Jessica Parker and Paula Deen were among the celebs who appeared on the show's NBC run before it was cancelled in 2012.
