TLC picks up new show from 'Jersey Shore' exec focusing on Boston

Thanks to the massive success she has received with "Jersey Shore," SallyAnn Salsano is officially one of the biggest names in reality TV -- and now, she's been handed yet another gig.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, TLC has picked up a new show entitled "Southie Pride" that follows five women struggling to make ends meet in the tough community known as South Boston.

“Spend some time with the women of South Boston and you quickly learn that pride runs deep, family comes first, and that their friendships and rivalries are forever ... And, their accents are wicked awesome.”

South Boston has been the setting for some feature films as "Good Will Hunting," and this show already seems as though it is a bit more inspirational than the "Shore."
