TJ Jackson has been co-guardian of Michael Jackson’s 3 kids along with Katherine Jackson since July and he has been doing it free of charge. TJ is now asking for some compensation for taking care of the children, according to TMZ on Feb. 6.
The Executors of Michael Jackson’s estate have filed legal documents stating TJ has been devoted to Paris, Prince and Blanket since the death of Michael. TJ spends about 40 hours a week caring for the children.
Taking care of Michael’s children has been very time consuming for TJ and not to mention he has a wife and three children of his own. The Executors are asking the judge to allow them to pay TJ $9,000 a month retroactive from July.
TJ Jackson is not asking for a great deal of money. Hopefully the judge will grant the $9,000 to be paid to TJ for the care of Michael Jackson’s children. TJ Jackson is Michael’s nephew and the son of Tito Jackson.
