The three-shot victory was Watson’s second of the year (Northern Trust Open) and sixth of his PGA Tour career.

MASTERS NOTES: Watson closed with a 3-under 69 en route to an 8-under par 280 victory total … Rickie Fowler (Pro V1x) finished T5 for his best career Masters finish, while Lee Westwood (Pro V1x) placed solo 7th, as Titleist golf ball loyalists occupied five of the top seven positions on the leaderboard … Watson, who became the 17th player to win the Masters more than once, had his second Green Jacket presented to him by last year’s champion, Titleist brand ambassador Adam Scott … The victory vaulted Watson into a career-best No. 4 in the world, just behind Scott (No. 2) and fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Henrik Stenson (No. 3).

WORLDWIDE TOURS: Additional wins last week by Titleist golf ball players on the (Carlos Ortiz) and South African (Jbe Kruger) tours lifted Titleist’s year-to-date victory count to 41, nearly six times that of the nearest competitor.

WEB.COM/Mexico Championship: Ortiz won the El Bosque Mexico Championship for his second victory on the young Tour season … The 22-year-old closed with a 4-under 68 en route to a two-shot victory … Ortiz posted a 13-under 275 victory total and advanced from second to the top of the 2014 money list, already earning well over the amount needed to earn a PGA Tour card next season as a top-25 finisher … He would earn an immediate PGA Tour promotion with another victory.

SOUTH AFRICA/Zimbabwe Open: Titleist ambassador Jbe Kruger posted a one shot, wire-to-wire victory at the Zimbabwe Open to register his third career Sunshine Tour title … Kruger started the final round five shots behind the overnight leader and closed with a 6-under par 66 en route to an 18-under par 270 victory total.
