"Take a deep look at the Atlas class titan," developer Respawn Entertainment wrote for the mech's introduction. "Known as the workhorse of the titan classes, the Atlas excels where all other models fall short. The Atlas continues to out-perform competing technologies on every battlefield."
The Atlas is the balanced mech in the game with better speed and agility than the ogre but stronger and more heavily armored than the Stryder class. It will likely be the default class available to Titanfall owners from the start through it is unknown if Respawn plans to release more mech in the future.
Titanfall is currently scheduled to be released to the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe.
