'Titanfall', the first creation of Respwan Entertainment, has taken sales of Microsoft's gaming console, Xbox One, to new heights. As reported by Eurogamer on March 17, the release of 'Titanfall' has boosted overall sales of the Xbox One by 96 percent in the UK.

Although the giant-robot multiplayer FPS action game has fueled sales of Xbox One, Playstation 4 is still leading the sales race worldwide.

'Titanfall' is the UK's best-selling game and 70 percent of all Xbox One consoles sold in the United Kingdom last week were included in the special 'Titanfall' bundle.

Microsoft recently stated that the 'Titanfall' launch would give a significant boost to Xbox One sales and executives also confirmed that the lower price for the device in the UK is not an indication that the tech-giant will also offer the gaming console for a cheaper price in other regions.

Despite only being released on Xbox One and PC, 'Titanfall' sales have already doubled that of FIFA 14.
