Patrick Soderlund provided release dates updates for the PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Titanfall.” According to a report from Aus Gamers on Feb. 7, the executive vice president of EA Studios stated that the development of the first-person shooter is “in the final stages of polishing.”
However, Respawn Entertainment is further ahead with the PC and Xbox One versions when compared to Bluepoint Games with the Xbox 360 iteration. The video game on current-generation console needs two more weeks in order to “put the finishing touches.”
The PC and Xbox One versions are still expected to come out on March 11th in North American. The Xbox 360 port is now due to come out on March 25th. You can find some “Titanfall” screens in the slideshow to the left of the article and the comments from Patrick Soderlund below:
In these last few weeks before launch, Respawn is in the final stages of polishing the Xbox One and PC versions of the game. Bluepoint is doing the same with the Xbox 360 version. To give them the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe. The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience.
Respawn Entertainment is the main development studio behind the creation of “Titanfall.” The company decided to outsource the port of the Xbox 360 version to Bluepoint Games, the development team responsible for other high-definition ports such as “Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.”
“Titanfall,” which will be published by Electronic Arts, is a multiplayer-only video game that utilizes special suits that give players more maneuverability in addition to offering the ability take control of giant bi-pedal war robots.
