The multiplayer beta for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “TitanFall,” may have been leaked early. According to a report from Pixel Enemy on Dec. 3, the Edge Online website recently disclosed that the release of the multiplayer-only first-person shooter “will be preceded by a beta period” in an article criticizing the user interface of the Xbox One.
Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment has not yet officially confirmed a play test for “TitanFall.” In the past, some companies send out multiplayer betas so that the general public could provide some valuable feedback on the online multiplayer components of the software products. Electronic Arts recently released a play test for “Battlefield 4” before it was launched.
When asked about the report suggesting that “TitanFall” will be getting a pre-release multiplayer beta, a representative from the publishing company declined to comment. You can take a look at some screenshots from the new intellectual property in the slideshow to the left of this article and the response below (courtesy of Pixel Enemy):
We don’t comment on rumor or speculation.
“TitanFall” is currently expected to come out on March 11 of next year on the PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms. The first-person shooter is being pushed heavily as a next-generation console exclusive for the Xbox One. As a result, the potential multiplayer beta should be coming to Microsoft’s new console at the very least.
