Titanfall officially releasing on Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on March 11, 2014, Respawn Entertainment announced today. Sorry people, no beta details, but at least we can put a date on one of the most anticipated action titles to hit next year.
“Since we revealed the game in June we’ve been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall,” said co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella. “The feedback we’re getting from fans around the world is fueling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype.”
Also revealed in Respawn’s announcement is an extravagant Titanfall Collector’s Edition for a hefty $250; more than half the cost of a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The special edition comes with an exclusive 18” Titan statue with LED lighting, art book, Titan poster and of course the game itself.
Vince Zampella and Jason West, co-founders of Respawn Entertainment and co-creators of Call of Duty are partnered with Electronic Arts to publish their first game; the futuristic multiplayer shooter: Titanfall.
The shooter has garnered much attention since it’s reveal during Microsoft’s E3 presentation and rightfully so. Its dynamic combat and agile mech play speak for itself. Check out their newest trailer, released today, and see for yourself. For many, March 11 cannot come any sooner and we don’t blame them.
