Respawn Entertainment confirmed Monday night what a leak earlier in the day revealed. Titanfall will indeed receive a beta but only for the Xbox One and PC.

"[S]upersecret announcement time. I'm sure no one has been able to guess from the leaks," Respawn Entertainment co-fonuder Vince Zampella wryly posted on Twitter. "PC and XboxOne Beta! Details in the coming days."

While Zampella and Respawn are not ready to announce dates yet, the earlier leak of retail poster displays revealed that the Titanfall beta will run from Feb. 14 through Feb. 19 and will require a pre-order of some kind to get in. Of course, code giveaways through Respawn, Electronic Arts and media partners seems a likely bet as well.

Zampella made no mention of a beta for Xbox 360 but he did reveal that the port for the last-gen console is being handled by Bluepoint Games. The studio was previously responsible for a number of Playstation titles including the PS4 and PS Vita port of Flower, the PS Vita version of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, The ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection for PS3 and others. The only Xbox 360 game on its resume other than Titanfall is Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
