The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (uusc.org) "is quite literally the most effective way to put Unitarian Universalist values to work in the world — to make our faith shine, to make justice roll down like a righteous stream, and to ensure that we are in the vanguard of that torrent," said UUSC president Rev. Bill Schulz.

In 2013 the UUSC has campaigned to raise the minimum wage for restaurant workers, empowered torture survivors to tell their stories, rebuilt homes in Haiti, defended the human right to water in California, and supported activists who are working for open and democratic governments in the Middle East and North Africa.
