Thanksgiving is the time of year where people are generous, whether it's with donations of canned goods, food items, money or time. Unfortunately, the economy causes more and more people to end up on the receiving end as well.
This Thanksgiving, there are quite a few local organizations providing Turkey dinners to those in need. Discovery Church, Well Community Church, the Big Heart Brigade and the Mustard Seed Ministries are partnering to provide meals and fellowship to those in need for the 22nd Annual St Lucie County Thanksgiving Feast. Volunteers are needed!
For those who would like to help, you're needed in the following areas:
Tomorrow (November 23, 2011) - Help decorate the Refuge, 6PM - 8PM
Thursday (November 24, 2011) - Set up food and drink area, serve food, escort guests, prayer booths and clean up crew. Servers, are asked to please wear your Sunday best (Men, dress shirt and tie. Women, dresses).
