Tips to getting the gifts you really desire

See also

There is a way for you to receive the gifts you earnestly desired for Christmas, your birthday, or other special occasions. That way is through the simple but beneficial practice of exchanging or trading. Therefore, here are some tips to help you see how to turn one gift into many or something else you crave.

Be grateful

First, be thankful for whatever gift you receive. The fact that somebody thought of you is kind. If you did not get exactly what you wanted, there still may be a way for you to turn their kindness into your happiness. Especially if the gift they gave you came in its original packaging and has a bar code on it or gift receipt with it.

Look at the name brand, style, size, and sku of your product. If one more or of these are not available, use whatever is available to research your product on Google. Hopefully you will be able to see which stores carry the product. This will help you to know where to exchange the item.

Once you find a store that carries the item, take it to the store to return it. If you do not have a receipt, hopefully the store will give you in store credit.

Go for it

Once you receive compensation for your return, if you have cash, you can purchase what you can afford at whatever store you choose. If you receive in store credit, do not feel bound to the store where the credit is assigned.

Check to see if the store sells Vanilla Visa or Vanilla MasterCard gift cards. If so, purchase one of the preset amount gift cards. Then, take the gift card to purchase what you like at the retailer of your choice. Or, you can use the gift card to dine out, pay a bill, gas up your car, or purchase another gift for somebody else.
