Depending where you are at, if you’re on a plane than you can take you ziplock bag with your protein and get a little bit of water and mix up a shake. If you need to eat some things bring some almonds and other nuts along with you for the ride. Most flights aren’t going to take that long, so that should hold you over until you get to the wherever it is that you’re going.

4. Practice common sense, and choose the best options

What do we eat if we’re staying with someone or in a hotel room?

If you’re staying with someone, make sure from the get go that they understand your efforts and what you’re trying to do. Sometimes just telling someone can help them to better understand where you’re going with your weight loss or healthy eating efforts.

If you’re stuck in a hotel room, simply take zip lock bags with your protein in them and utilize them when necessary. You can also make some oatmeal in the room by using the hot water from the coffee maker. You can also get some fruit in the lobby depending on which hotel you stay at. Most hotels have fridges so you can store some fruit and veggies in them. Just be smart about your selections and practice common sense and you should be ok!
