It is now that time to shrug off the summer and embrace the new season of Fall. What does this mean to a “Woman in Business”? It means it is the perfect time to re-evaluate your goals and set up the rest of the year for success. Here are a few tips I recommend to help you get organized, focused and prosperous for the rest of the year.
Tip #1: Let go of Limiting Beliefs
This mean take an unbiased assessment of your business and the tasks, goals and income you have accomplished for this year so far. Do so in a non-judgmental way without an emotional air. Celebrate your success and move goals yet to be completed into the next season. This is not a step to be used for self deprecation and criticism.
Tip #2: Create your ‘Achievement Plan”
This simply means list out what you wish to have completed as your business goals. A stated in the previous tip, carry forward any unreached goals with a positive affirmation like “ I see myself as having been close to finishing this goal and am excited to see it through for this season.” This mind set will allow you to stay focused on your purpose and not bogged down my self doubt.
Tip #3: Acknowledge personal progress
By noting your personal growth with regards to your business you remind yourself that the job does not define you. It is simply an extension of where you wish to direct your focus and generate income. By realizing you are not all one dimension you will be setting yourself up for a successful completion of 2013.
The purpose of taking a moment to tap into your business growth for the previous months gives you the opportunity to applauded your momentum and encourage yourself for future successes. Remember if you don’t work for someone then as an entrepreneur it is very important to acknowledge and reward yourself. No one is going to pat you on the back when they have no idea what you are doing. So take the time to do it now. A ‘Gratitude’ list is always a helpful exercise.
