White house duo Tipper Gore and Al Gore are parting ways via divorce. The news comes just day after Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt announce their separation and looming divorce.
"This is very much a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration," says Al Gore, former vice president in a statement to the media, about his divorce with his wife of 40 years, Tipper.
"We ask for respect for our privacy and that of our family, and we do not intend to comment further."
Sources close to the couple say there were no affairs or side-stories of cheating or scandal, noting the couple simply "grew apart" through the years.
"Their lives had gotten more and more separated," a source said to The Associated Press. The couple has four children - Karenna, Kristin, Sarah and Albert - and three grandchildren.

As for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the two haven't been so clear cut about their separation. While the fans and media wonder if this is just another media hype, reps for Montag say that the couple is officially taking a break.
"Heidi is going through a difficult time and hopes people respect her privacy," the rep tells Us Weekly. Sources close to the pals also say a divorce isn't coming, but the separation is just some time away.
"There are no plans for divorce," the source says. "They are going through issues. It's a hiccup."

Al Gore has morphed into an insufferable NARCISSIST. He seems to have forgotten who he is and where he came from. In a 60 Minutes segment, broadcast on March 30, 2008, Tipper Gore pretty much explained her Husband by saying that Al's survival, after his defeat in 2000, "depended on his immersing himself in the climate cause." By that statement made by Mrs. Gore, it was clear to me that Al Gore had become unbearable, even to his loyal and devoted Wife. I think she just can't stand him and his out-of-control Narcissistic personality anymore. A Narcissist pretty much sucks all the oxygen out of any environment he enters, and this may well be what Al Gore is doing in his own environment at home. He's full of himself, and no one else can STAND him, not even his lovely Wife.
