Sept. 18: Wednesdays in the Wild, Yoga for Nature, 1-3 p.m. Meet at Lilly Nature Center for this fun yoga session. Bring a mat if you have one. Debra Steinhauer (link) will lead a yoga hike through Celery Bog. (There are some mats available for loan) Dress comfortably for this outdoor program.
Sept. 20: The Paint the Rain program is closing the season with a gala. Join the Paint the Rain Gala (link) for 20$ per person ticket. Both a silent and traditional auction will be conducted; online offers will also be accepted. Sylvia’s Ballroom, 625 Columbia St., Lafayette, 7-9 p.m. is the site of this community event. The barrels for sale have been painted by local artists.
Sept. 21: Volunteer opportunity – Wildcat Creek, South Fork clean-up (link). This year’s clean up is slated for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration deadline is past, so bring a brown bag lunch and your own drink. Dress to get wet, wear closed toe shoes and have work gloves.
